Hello MHS!
I am happy to announce that the beginning of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter has been made official! Madison High school will now have a state recognized FCA chapter. Mr. Bundy and I have been working to organize the logistics of this organization and are pleased to bring it to you, the student body.
“What is FCA?” many people have asked. In short, FCA is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A Biblically based study of integrating Christ into the athletic scene. We will look at the role Christ plays in our athletic carrier, study scripture, lead discussions, participate in service projects and much more. All are welcome to join. The study is, however, through an athletic lens.
The first meeting will be Friday, May 3rd over lunch in Mr. Bundy’s room. From that point on, we plan to meet weekly or biweekly as our schedules allow. If you are interested or have any further questions please feel free to email Mr. Bundy or myself (GN3037@k12.sd.us). I am excited for our chapter to begin and can’t wait to see it take off, hope to see you there!
